Paladino's ideas vs Cuomo's ideas on economics

Carl Paladino's views on the economy include cutting taxes and spending by 20 percent. He also wants the people to keep their jobs and to cut the medicaid bills back by 20 billion dollars, which will save the people 10 billion dollars (Paladino).   Paladino also plans to cut the state pension.

Andrew Cuomo's economic plan includes getting the unemployed back to work. He plans to give businesses 3,000 dollars in tax credit. He also wants to lower the costs of businesses.

I think Paladino's views on economics will be more helpful and important in the long run because I think New York can use all the help possible considering the economic disaster we are in. I think Cuomo focuses too much on one issue rather than Paladino who focuses on a lot of issues. I also think Paladino is a better speaker because he's very confident in what he says. According to the city newspaper, he appears to be very confident in his ability to speak in a debate. He said "Frankly, I don't think you have the cojones to face me and the other candidates in a open debate." I also think Cuomo won't be able to do things according to party standards. People such as Republican assembly member Joe Errigo  believe "Andrew is no stranger to crossing party lines."
