Gay Marriage.. Cuomo vs Paladino

Gay Marriage is a controversial issue that has been debated about for several decades. Gays have been stripped from their rights; they can not marry, they do not get benefits and many other rights. The pro gay marriage side argues that gay marriage is just a life style and ones decision whether they should or should not marry. The anti-gay marriage group feels as if it is unconstitutional for homesexual marriage. Republican Carl Paladino is completly against gay marriage and he even states that he felt discusted when he seen the gay pride parade. Does New York need a governor whose against gays getting their rights which they desereve ? Democrat Andrew Cuomo argues of giving gays their rights, which is a step closer to equality. Once blacks and women did not have their rights, but both partys fought strong to acheieve their rights; if we have a governor whom disagrees with giving gays their rights, it is taking a step back from equality.
